Guidoio, Italy’s first fully digital driving school, raises €3.5M in a seed round to expand across 30+ cities by 2026, powered by AI and mobile-first learning.

Guidoio Secures €3.5M Seed Round to Digitize Driver Education

Milan-based Guidoio, a trailblazing proptech / edtech startup, has raised €3.5 million in a seed funding round to scale its digital platform for obtaining driving licenses. The round was led by 360 Capital, through its 360 Digitaly fund, together with Azimut Libera Impresa SGR.

Founded in 2023 by Lorenzo Mannari and Giuseppe Cavallaro, Guidoio aims to digitize and simplify every step of the driving license journey. Through its mobile app, learners can handle enrollment, paperwork, medical appointments, practice lesson scheduling, and theoretical study — all from their smartphone.

A Next-Gen Learning Experience

At the heart of Guidoio’s offering are two standout features:

  • AI Tutor: Creates adaptive, personalized study paths that evolve according to the learner’s progress.
  • Smart Lesson Booking: Allows students to book driving lessons with certified instructors near their location, reducing friction and making scheduling more flexible.

This model empowers learners with more control, while keeping guidance and support just a tap away.

Strategic Use of Funds

Guidoio plans to deploy the funds in three main areas:

  1. Commercial Expansion: The startup aims to reach over 30 Italian cities by the end of 2026, growing beyond its current presence in Milan, Varese, Monza, Turin, and Bologna.
  2. Product Development: Investment will go into enhancing its e-learning platform, building more digital tools for instructors, and further developing its AI capabilities.
  3. Team Growth: Guidoio plans to add around 15 new hires, doubling its current team to support its scaling mission.

Vision & Impact

Lorenzo Mannari, CEO and co-founder, commented:

“A driving license today represents independence, employment, and freedom. Our ambition is to transform this journey into a simple, transparent, and accessible experience, aligned with the expectations of a generation that no longer tolerates bureaucracy and opacity.”

By creating a more modern, digital-first driving school, Guidoio is setting a new standard for mobility education in Italy — especially for digital-native generations who demand flexibility, clarity, and agency over their learning path.

Why Investors Should Pay Attention

Guidoio is uniquely positioned at the intersection of edtech and mobility, offering a scalable, regulatory-compliant solution in a traditionally analog sector. For early-stage and impact-driven investors, the startup represents:

  • A digital transformation of a large but fragmented driving school market.
  • A product with real societal value, enabling more people to navigate administrative and educational barriers to getting a license.
  • A strong growth plan backed by experienced VCs like 360 Capital and Azimut.

Looking Ahead

As Guidoio scales, the company aims to amplify its reach, deepen its product capabilities, and continue to refine its AI-driven learning experience. With this €3.5M injection, Guidoio is well on its way to redefining how Italians earn their driving licenses — making the process more accessible, efficient, and user-centric.
