RedCarbon secures €3 million led by Azimut Venture Capital Digitech Europe to scale its AI-powered cybersecurity platform and expand across Europe and the Middle East.

RedCarbon’s AI-Driven Cybersecurity Secures €3 Million in Series A Funding

RedCarbon, the Italian company revolutionizing cybersecurity with AI-powered agents, has raised €3 million in a Series A round led by Azimut Venture Capital Digitech Europe, with participation from Diapason Prime and Fnd XI. Fndx acted as exclusive financial advisor.

The new funding will accelerate RedCarbon’s international expansion, organizational growth, and product development — with a new CEO soon to be announced to lead the company’s expansion in Europe and the Middle East.

A New Era of Cyber Defense: Human + AI Collaboration

RedCarbon stands out as the only European company fully dedicated to applying AI to cybersecurity. Its proprietary platform introduces AI agents that act as virtual colleagues to cybersecurity teams, automating time-consuming and high-intensity tasks such as:

  • Monitoring and analyzing security alerts
  • Managing incidents in Security Operation Centers (SOCs)
  • Reducing response times and human error

This human–AI collaboration model allows analysts to focus on critical and strategic decisions, while AI handles repetitive workloads.

“This capital increase marks a turning point for RedCarbon. It allows us to accelerate growth and consolidate our position as a European leader in AI-based cybersecurity,” said Riccardo Baldanzi, Co-founder of RedCarbon.

A Strategic Bet on the Booming Cybersecurity Market

The European cybersecurity market is expected to reach €32.9 billion by 2030, driven by the adoption of AI-powered protection systems. RedCarbon’s unique approach and proprietary AI platform position it to become a continental benchmark for intelligent cyber defense.

“RedCarbon stands out in Europe for its unique integration of AI and cybersecurity,” said Giacomo Manaresi, Partner at Fndx. “This round confirms the market’s strong confidence in its vision and potential.”

Building the Future of AI Security

Co-founder Fabrizio Rosina emphasized that this round provides the resources needed to scale internationally and demonstrate the value of combining human expertise and AI automation.

“Our mission is to transform the most intensive cybersecurity activities. By freeing analysts from repetitive tasks, we enable them to focus on protecting what really matters,” Rosina explained.

The Road Ahead

By 2028, RedCarbon plans to expand its team by adding 16 strategic hires and launching new AI-based modules to enhance security operations. Its expansion into the Middle East reflects growing demand for advanced cybersecurity infrastructure across both regions.

With strong investor backing and a bold vision, RedCarbon is well on its way to becoming a European AI cybersecurity champion — one that exemplifies how technology can amplify human intelligence in defending the digital world.
